Your Story — And the Experience of Building It Together
A short film that brings together your story, your people, and our collaboration.
We’re documenting the stories of customers we work closely with. These short, documentary-style videos capture your business, your journey, and the experience of working together. As part of this, you’ll also receive a brand-only version you can use independently.

The process is simple, collaborative, and designed to fit around your team. There are no scripts or rehearsed answers, just real conversations, recorded in your own environment, and shaped into a clear, authentic story.

On-site recording
We record the video at your offices or workspace, using your real working environment as the backdrop. This helps the story feel grounded and true to how your team operates.
Short, edited story

Two video versions

Time commitment
The full session typically takes around two hours on-site, including setup, interviews, and supporting footage. The schedule is planned to respect your team’s time.
How the Story Comes Together
These recordings are created to document customer stories that reflect real partnerships and real work.
We spend time with a small number of people across your team, usually two or three, and have short, conversational interviews. Everyone is asked the same set of questions, which allows different perspectives to come together naturally.
Alongside the interviews, we record footage of your environment and day-to-day work. This might include your workspace, your product or platform in use, and moments of collaboration as they happen.
From a single recording session, two video edits are created. One reflects the partnership with Cat Media and is used in case studies and customer education. The other is a brand-only version that removes references to Cat Media and focuses solely on your organisation. Some customers choose to share this externally, others keep it for internal use.

The Questions We Use
We use a consistent set of questions across all customer story recordings. They’re designed to guide a natural conversation and reflect both your journey and the experience of working together.
The questions focus on:
- What your organisation stands for
- The challenges you were addressing
- Your experience of working with Cat Media
- How HubSpot supports your work
- Where you’re heading next
There’s no scripting involved. The conversation is shaped in the moment and adapted to each participant.
On the Day
We’ll come to your offices with our recording equipment and handle setup.
The session typically includes:
- Setting up lighting and audio
- Short interviews with participants
- Recording supporting footage
- Wrapping up
The session is planned to keep things moving and to respect your team’s time. Total time on site is usually around two hours.
Review and Approval
Once the first edit is ready, we’ll share it with you for review. Any final adjustments are made before delivery, and nothing is shared or published without your approval.
